First Prize at the “Third Family Business Awards.”
The first time a Japanese company won this prize. Points of evaluation: “While introducing innovative techniques, Daishichi is firmly dedicated to tradition as well. Proactive in foreign branding. Contribution to the spread abroad of Japanese sake culture. Compared to other companies in the same trade, the financial situation is healthy. Takes an active part in local events and also holds events in the brewery

First Place / Governor’s Award of the “First Fukushima Industrial Awards”
Daishichi won the glorious first prize at the first time this award was given. We received high praise for the fact that, while continuing the traditional way of sake brewing, “the kimoto method,” Daishichi also has contributed to the fame abroad of sake from Fukushima, and is proactive in sales by finding new markets

The Prize of the Minister of Economic Affairs of the “Seventh Monozukuri Japan Awards.”
The prize was awarded because of “the development of top class sake by using the superflat rice polishing technique and the kimoto method, as well as the development of overseas markets.” The highest prize ever given at this ceremony to a sake brewery
