Brewery visits

Daishichi welcomes brewery visits. Admission is charged and includes a tasting.
Brewery visits are possible on weekdays during working hours; we are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays.

In the period that sake brewing takes place (generally between late October and late March), it is not possible to enter the brewery with visitors, due to the sensitivity of the kimoto process; at that time we offer only a tasting in the main hall of our company.

We can not receive groups larger than 6 persons.

When you are interested, please make an advance appointment by email in English or Japanese to info@daishichi.com. In that mail, please mention the preferred date and time, the number and full names of the visitors and which course you select (see below). It is possible that the slot you prefer is already occupied, in which case we have to ask you to look for another time or date.

The tour is available in Japanese only (although we show an English or Chinese video and have pamphlets in several languages).

There are four courses:

●General Course with English iPad (outside the brewing season)
 ¥1,500 per person (incl. tax)
Time needed about 75 min.
Includes a tasting of 5 items (same admission price for persons who do not take part in the tasting).

●General Course with English iPad (during the brewing season)
 ¥1,000 per person (incl. tax)
During the brewing season (late autumn – early spring) it is not possible for visitors to enter the brewery.
Time needed about 60 min.
Includes a tasting of 5 items (same admission price for persons who do not take part in the tasting).

●Premium Course with English iPad (outside the brewing season)
 ¥3,500 per person (incl. tax)
Time needed about 110 min.

●Premium Course with English iPad (during the brewing season)

During the brewing season (late autumn – early spring) it is not possible for visitors to enter the brewery.
